iPhone 5 Release Date and Features

Its a new year and with that comes a whole host of rumors, whether it be about the state of the economy, if and when the world will end or when the latest tech gadget will release. The iPhone 4S is still going strong but the attention is beginning to shift to it’s predecessor, yet to even be produced.

Many creditable bloggers seem to have the same opinion or have relieved information that they feel confident enough to report on about the iPhone 5. The interesting part, these bits of information seem to match one another.

The details conclude that the iPhone 5 will release in the fall of 2012. It will feature a faster processor, a slightly larger screen, a rubber bezel surrounding the phone that will allow for a better grip in the hand and inside cases and sleeves, a redesigned internal antenna and an aluminum back.

iphone 4s features and specifications

Apple's website was showing a two week waiting period of different variants of the device. The pre-orders for the iPhone 4S have already broken the previous single-day pre-order record of the company's smartphone. The pre- orders of the phone surpassed one million in the first 24 hours compared to 600,000 units recorded by the iPhone 4.

The iPhone 4 has been the company's best selling smartphone yet. Apple has said that it has sold more units than first three generations of iPhones combined. It is to be seen if the new iPhone 4S will be able to attract a great number of users and surpass other records set by the earlier iPhone 4 model.

Features and Specifications:

Features:

• Dual-core A5 chip.The most powerful iPhone ever

Two cores in the A5 chip deliver up to two times more power and up to seven times faster graphics.2 And youll feel the effects. Fast. iPhone 4S is quick and responsive, which makes all the difference when youre launching apps, browsing the web, gaming, and doing just about everything. And no matter what youre doing, you can keep on doing it. Because the A5 chip is so power-efficient, iPhone 4S has outstanding battery life.

• The you-cant-believe-its-on-a-phone camera

This just might be the best camera ever on a phone. And with all-new optics, it just might be the only camera you need. Because behind every shot, youve got 8-megapixel resolution and a custom lens with a larger f/2.4 aperture. Not to mention an improved backside illumination sensor, excellent auto white balance, advanced color accuracy, face detection, and reduced motion blur. It all means that no matter how many people, how much light, and how much action you capture, everything looks exactly as it should. And just wait until you see the photos.

• Video recording. In 1080p amazing HD

Shoot stunning 1080p HD video everywhere you go. With all-new optics, the light is always right, the color is always vivid, and everything will look even better than you remember. Video stabilization steadies shaky shots. And you can edit video right on iPhone and share your lush life as fast as you shoot.

• iOS. The worlds most advanced mobile operating system. And the easiest to use.

With every iOS advancement come even easier ways to do everything. Thats what makes iOS years ahead of anything else. iOS 5 leaps even further ahead, bringing over 200 new features to iPhone 4S. Here are just a few of our favorites.

• iCloud. Your content. On all your devices.

iCloud is the easiest way to manage all your stuff, because it manages it all for you. iCloud stores your music, photos, apps, mail, contacts, calendars, documents, and more. And wirelessly pushes them to all your devices. Its automatic, effortless, and seamless. And it just works.4

• Retina display.Clearly remarkable.

The sharpest, most vibrant thing youll see on iPhone 4S is everything. The Retina display is the highest-resolution phone screen ever. In fact, the pixel density is so high that the human eye is unable to distinguish individual pixels. But without a doubt, youll notice crisp text, sharp graphics, and stunning images. Its more remarkable than the printed page. And youll be completely absorbed.

• FaceTime. Its even better face-to-face

FaceTime lets you hear a voice and see the face that goes with it iPhone to iPhone, iPad 2, iPod touch, or Mac over Wi-Fi.5 So no matter where they are, no matter where you are, youll always be there. Making a FaceTime call is just as easy as making a phone call. And its even easier with Siri. Just tell Siri FaceTime with Mom and you show up, smile, and wave hello. Youll never miss a big event, an important meeting, or a good laugh. And who wouldnt be happy to see your face?

• AirPlay. From the small screen to the big screen.

With AirPlay, you can wirelessly stream whats on your iPhone to your HDTV and speakers via Apple TV.6 And with AirPlay Mirroring, whatever you see and do on your iPhone appears on your HDTV at the same time.

• AirPrint.Print everything wirelessly.

Print your email, photos, web pages, and documents right from your iPhone over Wi-Fi.7 Theres no software to download, no drivers to install, and no cables to connect. With just a few taps, you can go from viewing something on the iPhone screen to holding a printed copy.

• Call it better, faster, and even more worldly.

iPhone 4S is the first phone to intelligently switch between two antennas to transmit and receive, so call quality is better. It also doubles the maximum HSDPA data speeds to 14.4 Mbps.8 Which means faster connections, faster loading and reloading, and faster downloads. And iPhone 4S is a world phone, so you can use it almost anywhere. Whether youre a GSM or CDMA customer, you can roam GSM networks in 200 countries around the world.

new iphone 5 specification

The new iPhone 5 is still on the cards - we are expecting it to debut in the middle of this year. So we've gathered together all the latest iPhone 5 rumours and rounded them up below.

It's the phone that appeared when the whole world was looking forward to the iPhone 5 anyway, so make up your own mind whether to make the jump to Apple's latest now or save those pennies for the 2012 iPhone 5 release.

iPhone 5 will have 4G/LTE support:

With many 4G handsets already announced in the US, it can't be long before the iPhone supports 4G technologies - even if we won't even have a UK spectrum auction until 2012.

• 4G mobile broadband and LTE explained

Cnet.com quotes Will Strauss from analyst firm Forward Concepts, who says that the next iPhone will feature LTE technologies."They're saving iPhone 5 for the LTE version and that won't be out until next spring," said Strauss.
After the new iPad's launch brought 4G to an Apple device, it's widely expected that 4G will come to iPhone 5.

iPhone 5 screen:

Various sources claim the iPhone 5 will feature a larger, 4-inch screen. Digitimes quotes the source as saying that Apple is expanding the screen size "to support the tablet PC market as the vendor only has a 9.7-inch iPad in the market."
On 23 May 2011, we reported on rumours that the iPhone 5 could feature a curved glass screen. These rumours also came from Digitimes, which said that Apple has purchased between 200 and 300 special glass cutting machines because they're too costly for the manufacturers to invest in.

iPhone 5 digital wallet - NFC:

There's been some speculation that Apple might include Near Field Communication (NFC) technology in the iPhone 5, turning it into a kind of credit/debit card.
However, with the tech being inside the Google Nexus S and Samsung Galaxy Nexus, as well as a host of other top smartphones, the time for NFC may finally be here.
On 24 June 2011 it was reported that the Google Wallet mobile payment platform could feature on the new iPhone. Eric Schmidt admitted that Google is looking to port the software to other manufacturers.
However, on 31 January 2012 9to5Mac claimed to have spoken with a well-connected developer who disclosed information received from Apple iOS engineers saying they are "heavily into NFC".
The developer in question has not been named, but is working on a dedicated iOS app which includes NFC reading for mobile transactions. When questioned how confident he was on the information he had received his reply was "Enough to bet the app development on".

iPhone 5 camera:

Sony makes the camera for the iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S. Speaking at a live Wall Street Journal event, Sony's Sir Howard Stringer was talking about the company's camera image sensor facility in Sendai, a town that was recently ravaged by the recent Japanese earthquake and tsunami.
According to 9to5Mac, he said something along the lines of, "Our best sensor technology is built in one of the [tsunami] affected factories. Those go to Apple for their iPhones… or iPads. Isn't that something? They buy our best sensors from us."
Sources have also suggested the new iPhone could have an 8MP camera. Indeed, Sony announced in January 2012 that it had developed new back-illuminated stacked CMOS image sensors which are smaller in size.

Apple iPhone 4 in India New Launched

Airtel iPhone 4 is coming to India after around 1 year of its launch in most parts of the world . The expected Airtel iPhone 4 Price in India is between Rs.35-42,000 depending up on the storage capacity . Many (like me ) has bought it from ebay or from other countries where it was available .

In an effort to boost awareness of its wireless business and create an edge up on the competition, Radio Shack is knocking $50 off all iPhone handsets and offering trade-in incentives that could net customers a brand new iPhone 4 for as low as $25. This one week sale, began Saturday morning and runs through December 11th, marks $50 off all current iPhone models, meaning customers new to AT&T or eligible for upgrade pricing can take home an iPhone 3GS for $50, a 16GB iPhone 4 for $150, or a 32GB iPhone 4 for $250. What’s more, the specialty electronics retailer is also upping the value proposition of its Trade & Save program, offering customers a $75 credit towards the purchase of a new phone when they trade in a working iPhone 3G or a $125 credit when they trade in a working iPhone 3GS.

Those credits can be combined with the retailer’s instant $50 savings, meaning customers who trade in an iPhone 3GS can save $175 off the cost of a new Apple handset, bringing the cost of a the $299 32GB iPhone 4 down to $125 and cutting the price of the $199 16GB iPhone 4 to just $25, before taxes and standard activation fees. The deals are exclusive to Radio Shack’s brick-and-mortar retail stores and are not available online. Existing AT&T customers looking to take advantage of the offers are encouraged to use the retailer’s Eligibility Checker to pre-determine whether they qualify for upgrade pricing. It should be noted that as part of the promotion, Radio Shack is taking a more lenient approach on iPhone trade-ins. Instead of assessing the value of the used handsets based on their physical condition, the company is expected to extend $75 credits on iPhone 3Gs and $125 credits on iPhone 3GSs as long as they are fully functional and don’t have a cracked screen.
